NEK Kabel offers a diverse range of communication category cables called Sealine, starting from Sealine Category 5e up to future-proof Category 8 cables. These cables, which comply with SHF1 and SHF2 MUD standards, possess exceptional fire retardant properties. Consequently, they enable cabling infrastructure to endure even the most demanding and varied environmental conditions.

The primary objective of these cables is to meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards, ensuring their resilience in electromagnetically noisy surroundings and their suitability for installation in EMC zones (e.g., near motors, pumps, or radio equipment). In addition to their EMC compliance, these cables are capable of supporting a wide range of services, including Vessel Management Systems (VMS), web-based services, Industrial Ethernet, IP services (such as voice and video), ERP systems, monitoring and surveillance, and real-time data acquisition.

The Sealine range encompasses approved cables that possess additional features such as armoring, resistance to mud, fire resistance, and suitability for extreme cold arctic environments, as well as being designed for external harsh treatments.

NEK Sealine maritime certified RG coaxial communication cables are ideal for monitoring video signals. They can be used for various applications such as broadcasting, audio, and video. These coaxial cables are wires that can carry radiofrequency current at a higher rate than other cables and can take radiofrequency with almost no power loss.
NEK Sealine coaxial cables also feature better external electromagnetic interference, and hence, these cables reduce the risk of data loss.

These coaxial cables that emit high radio frequencies are manufactured according to military specifications MIL-C17F, M17/074 and M17/75, which can be applied to a very wide range of categories such as navy and research vessels, offshore platforms, shipboard, hook-ups, aerospace and many more.

Specifically, these cables are available in both impedance of 75 Ohm and 50 Ohm; and used in applications such as Microwave Radio Link, Satellite Communication, INMARSAT, GMDSS Radio, Telemetry SCADA Radio, Meteorological, VHF/UHF Trunked & Conventional Radio, Crane Radio, CCTV, TVRO Entertainment, Video Conferencing, etc.
